Membership of the UKMDA is a must for any company who is involved in the metal decking and stud welding field.

The following 6 membership categories are available:

• Supply and Install
• Install Only
• Supply Only
• Manufacturer
• Trainer
• Associate

Membership brings with it a raft of benefits, both tangible and intangible. Apart from being a member of the leading organisation in the metal decking and stud welding field  – an organisation that represents over 95% of the market, you will be able to influence changes in the industry through our committee structure,  and liaison with HSE, CSCS, other like-minded trade bodies, major contractors.

Supply & Install

For those companies who provide the whole package in the metal decking and stud welding field. If a company supplies metal decking and shear connectors, and then installs them for the client or contractor, then this category is for you.

Install Only

For those companies who install metal decking and shear studs, but do not supply the materials

Manufacturer

This category does what it says on the tin – it is for the manufacturers of metal decking and shear studs.

Trainer

For those companies who provide the training and assessment for the operatives working in this field.

Associate

This category is for all other associated trades such as equipment suppliers, and providers of services to the industry.
